While a two vehicle accident Wednesday did not result in any injuries, the incident left authorities with more questions than answers.
According to an Alabama State Trooper investigation report, two cars, a 1997 Ford police cruiser, driven by Officer Percy Nero with the Atmore Police Department and a 1988 white truck driven by Kenneth Craft of Atmore, were involved in the accident that occurred late Wednesday night on Lynburg Avenue.
The Atmore police cruiser suffered a "good bit of damage," according to Atmore Police Chief Danny McKinley.
After Atmore police could not determine a cause of the accident, AST was called to the scene to conduct the investigation, which is still ongoing.
The investigation is ongoing by the State Troopers office.
