Mrs. Marzetta Scott, 71, of Century, died Saturday, December 8, 2001, at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola.
She was a native of Century, past resident of Clewiston, Fla. and resident of Century for the past few years.
She was a member of Cry Loud Spare Not Pentecostal Church in Century.
She was preceded in death by her husband, D. C. Scott; her parents, Emmett and Edna Hamilton; a daughter and a son.
Mrs. Scott is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Scott of Century; three sons, Devon Scott of Century, Freddy Scott and his wife, Phylis, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and David Scott and his wife, Ernestibe, of Jackson, Miss.; a sister, Rozetta Hamilton of Century; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 15 at 11 a.m. at Pilgram Lodge Baptist Church with the Rev. Idana Bradley officiating.
Burial was at Stallworth Cemetery.
Pallbearers were friends of the family.
Turner Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
