moderate damage' to Fifth Ave. home

A fire at 504 Fifth Ave. caused moderate damage to a home last Thursday night.
Billy Watford, the owner, was not home at the time of the incident.
Watford was not home at the time of the accident, but phoned police from his cell phone when we returned and saw his house ablaze.
According to Watford, within two minutes firefighters with had arrived and attempted to put out the blaze.
The cause of the fire is being investigated, but was unknown at press time.
Fire department officials said that the damage to the home was moderate, but Watford said his home suffered "extensive" damage.
The fire is beleived to have started in the back of the house.
According to Watford, there was extensive water and smoke damage throughout the house.
Fire officials said the cause of the fire will investigated, but there is no reason to suspect arson.
