Mrs. Lillian Milton, 81, died Sunday, February 10, 2002, at Springhill Memorial Hospital in Mobile.
Mrs. Milton was a member of Second Mt. Triumph Baptist Church, President of Matron's Organization, and a member of the Missionary Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Janie Lee McDonald-Black and Henry Black Sr.; two sisters, Florence Stallworth and Mary Black, and three brothers, Henry Stallworth Jr., Willie Black, and C. B. Black.
Mrs. Milton is survived by her husband, Simon Milton Sr. of Atmore; two daughters, Danice Milton Lee of Rock Island, Ill. and Avis Omar of Cleveland, Ohio; a son, Simon Milton Jr. of Davenport, Iowa; a sister, Farrow Black-Dixon of Detroit, Mich.; three brothers, Walter Black and Lloyd Black, both of Detroit, and Charles Black of Philadelphia, Penn.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, February 15 from 1 to 8 p.m. at Tuner Funeral Chapel. Family hour will be from 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 16 at 1 p.m. at Second Mt. Triumph Baptist Church with the Rev. Lance Cheney and Minister Janice Black-Moore officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at Stallworth Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be friends of the family.
Turner Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
