Mrs. Allie Pearl Burkett Rainwater, 77, died Saturday, February 16, 2002.
She was a native of Excel, former resident of Christian Home and a resident of Duluth, Ga. since 1965. She attended Mt. Tabor Baptist Church.
Mrs. Rainwater is survived by two sons, Ted Rainwater and his wife, Janice, of McDavid and Gary Rainwater of Rome, Ga.; a daughter, Dixie Mooney and her husband, Rickey, of Monroe, Ga.; a brother, Johnny Burkett of Cantonment; three sisters, Minnie Holland, Lucille Parham and Estelle Thortis, all of Christian Home; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20 at 10 a.m. at Christian Home Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. David Lyle officiating.
Burial will follow at Christian Home Cemetery.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
