Mrs. Velma M. Ryals, 79, died Tuesday, February 19, 2002, in Atmore.
She was a homemaker and native of Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie W. Ryals and a son, Larry B. Thomas.
Mrs. Ryals is survived by a son, Allen Thomas and his wife, Mitzi, of Atmore; three sisters, Myrtle Young of Rome, Ga., Lena M. Getchman of Everett, Wash. and Ruth Selman of Rome, and two grandchildren, Zachary Benjamin Thomas and Heather Camille Thomas.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 20 at 2 p.m. at Oakhill Cemetery.
Family will receive friends at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until the service.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
