Mrs. Barbara Ann Helton,70, of Atmore died Saturday April 6,2002. in Pensacola.
She was a Secretary for First Baptist Church of Atmore, born in Winston County, Miss.
Mrs. Helton is survived by her husband, James Albert Helton of Atmore; a son, James A. Helton Jr. and his wife, Sheila B. of Atmore; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Woodruff; two brothers, John Woodruff and his wife, Ina, of Thomasville, Ga. H.T. Woodruff Jr. and his wife, Virginia, of Jay; a brother-in-law, Ronald Roundtree of New Orleans, La.; two sisters, Margaret Phillips and her husband, Cecil of Jays and Patricia Medley of DeFuniack Springs; a sister-in-law, Betty Helton of Lanette; two granddaughters, Leigh Ann Helton and Abby Helton, both of Atmore; 10 nephews and seven nieces.
Services were held Tuesday April 9 at 2 p.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Grindle officiating.
Burial followed ar Oak Hill Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Cecil Ellis, Tobe Sellers, Pete Elton, Gary Hare, James Bell and Billy Farr.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
