Mrs. Cornelia Fountain Kennedy, 91, died Friday, June 7, 2002.
She was a native of Monroeville and resident of Atmore where she was a member of Liberty Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Kennedy.
Mrs. Kennedy is survived by two daughters, Ima Ervin of Atmore and Flossie Moorer of Walnut Hill; a son, Ollie Chinester Pugh of Opalaka, Fla.; three sisters, Lula Lee Moorer of Walnut Hill, Allie B. Lee and Mary Lee Richardson, both of DeFuniak Springs; two brothers, Andrew Fountain of Walnut Hill and Robert Fountain of Excel; 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; 25 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 15 at 1 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home with the Rev. Sammie Lee Moorer officiating.
Burial was at Fairview Cemetery.
Robinson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
