The Greater Atmore Community will be celebrating July 4th with theme of "Hero's Among Us." There will be two hours of music and patriotic celebration. The evening will end with a spectacular fireworks display lasting for 25 minutes.
Local Firefighters, EMS, Police Officers, and Military Personnel will be honored, as well as a tribute to local veterans is also planned.
This July 4th celebration will be held at the Community Center of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. The sponsors of this event are the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, Atmore Chamber of Commerce, Pepsi Bottlers, and United Bank.
