The Babe Ruth and Cal Ripken District Tournaments will be held this week in Atmore.
The 13,14, and 15 year-old tournament teams will play against Monroeville, South Monroe, Evergreen, and Brewton.
The 14 year-old tournament team will play the Brewton 14 year-old team at 5:30 on July 3 in the first game of the Babe Ruth Tournament.
The 15 year-old South Monroe team will play the 15-year old Brewton team at 7:30 to complete the last game of the day.
The 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 year-old tournament teams play in the Cal Ripken District Tournament against Theodore. The 8 and 10 year old Atmore teams will start out the tournament against the 8 and 10 year-old teams from Theodore at 11 a.m. on July 4. The 9 and 11 year-old teams play against the 9 and 11 year old teams from Theodore at 1 p.m.. The last game of the day will the Atmore 12 year-olds against the Theodore 12 year-olds at 3p.m..
The South Monroe 14 year old team will battle the Monroeville 14 year-old in the first Independance Day game at 11 p.m. Tthe Atmore 15 year-old team competes against the Monroeville 15 year-old team at 1 p.m. and
last game of the day will be the winner of the 15 year old South Monroe and Brewton game and the Evergreen 15 year-old team at 4:00.
