Mr. WIlbur Ray Odom Sr., 51, died Thursday, July 4, 2002, in Flomaton.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Flomaton and was a member of the National Rifleman's Association, the Red Hill Hunting Club and an employee of Cahrco. He attended Little Escambia Baptist Church.
Mr Odom is survived by his wife, Lil Odom of Flomaton; a son, Wilbur Ray Odom Jr. and his wife, Paula, of Flomaton; a daughter, Susie Pettis and her husband, Pete, of Flomaton; three grandchildren, Destiny Pettis, Dustin Odom and Little Unborn and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 8 at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Wallace Reid officiating. Burial followed at Emmon Cemetry.
Active pallbearers were Steven Bell, Josh Caraway, Ben Black, Paul Jordan, Bobo Bell and Derik Brantley. Honorary pallbearers were Rick Hewitt, Toby Boutwell, James Spears, Scott Gordon and Robert Cash. Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrnagements.
