Mrs. Bertie Kennedy Tyree, 86, of Canoe died Thursday, July 11, 2002 in Atmore.
She was a homemaker, born in Butler County on March 20, 1916 to the late Jesse Lee and Liddie Cole Kennedy.
Survivors include: one son, Ernest Tyree of Perdido; two daughters, Betty Jean Adams of Pensacola and Ann Johnson of Canoe; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, July 13, 2002 at 10 a.m. from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Welch officiating. Interment will follow in New Home Cemetery in Lottie.
Family will receive friends Friday evening July 12 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
