Mr. Alfred Stallworth

Mr. Alfred Stallworth, 94, died Monday, July 8, 2002 at his residence in Atmore.
He was a native of Cot in Wilcox County and a resident of Atmore for many years.
Stallworth retired from Monsanto (now known as Solutia) in Pensacola with 22 years of service. Prior to that he worked as a laborer with Swift Lumber in Atmore for over 18 years. He was a member of Zion Star AME Church in Atmore.
He was preceded in death by: a wife, Placeda Stallworth; his parents, Issac and Eliza Stallworth; a son, Willie Arthur Williams and a several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by: four daughters, Alfred Lee York and Sharon Stallworth, both of Atmore and Debra Stallworth and Wanda Stallworth, both of Mobile; five sons, Lawerence (Ida) Stallworth and Michael (Patricia) Stallworth, all of Pensacola, Joseph Boggin of Detroit, Mich., William Thomas of Atmore and Bobby Frank Stallworth of Oakland, Calif.; one sister, There Griffin of Detroit, Mich. and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Jones Street Holiness Church in Atmore with Bishop Willie L. Williams officiating. The body will lie instate at the church one hour prior to the service.
There will be family hour on Monday, July 15, 2002 from 6-8 p.m. at Turner Funeral Chapel.
Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Atmore.
Turner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
