Mr. Fred Douglas Clark, Sr., 52, died Thursday, July 25, 2002, at Atmore Community Hospital.
He was a lifetime resident of the Atmore area, a 1969 graduate of Escambia County Training School and member of Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church and Eureka Lodge #953 Masonic Lodge. He was retired as a telephone lineman with Frontier Communications with over 20 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Bessie Lee Clark and father, Willie Clark.
Mr. Clark is survived by three daughters, Kimberly Clark of Monroeville and Alexis Clarke and Kendra Clarke, both of Atmore; five sons, Fred Clarke Jr., Kenneth Clark, Demarcus Clark, and Jeffery McCants ,all of Atmore, and Daniel Showers of Century; four sisters, Joyce (James) North of Atmore, Pollie Clark and Easterlean Clarke both of Hartford, Conn. and and Lillian Curry of South Bay, Fla.; a brother, Larry (Jeanell) Clark of Atmore, and three grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 31 at 2 p.m. at Greater Mt. Triumph Baptist Church with Dr. A. L. Durant, Sr.
officiating.
Burial will be at Lucious Cemetery.
Turner Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
