Mr. Charles R. Boutwell, 54, died Wednesday, September 4, 2002, in a Louisiana hospital.
He was a native and lifetime resident of Flomaton , a member of the Cattleman's Association and an employee of Petro-Hunt, LLC of Dallas, Texas.
Mr. Boutwell is survived by his wife, Penny Boutwell of Flomaton; his son, Charles Boutwell Jr. of Smiths; a sister, Peggy Hoodless of Milton; his grandaughter, Hanna Boutwell and two step-children, Haley Coleman and Blake DeLuca.
Funeral services were sent Sunday, September 8 at 2 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Mr. Richard Ash officiating.
Burial followed at Traveler's Rest Cemetery.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mary Nell Elkins
Mrs. Mary Nell Elkins, 65, of Atmore died Monday, Septemebr 9, 2002, in Atmore.
She was a home care worker and native of Canoe.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Nannie Godwin Sheets; a step-father, Melvin Sheets and two brothers, Elbert Eugene Godwin and William E. "Joe" Godwin.
Mrs. Elkins is survived by a brother, Clarence Gillis Godwin of Atmore and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 11 at 11 a.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating.
Pallbearers will be Elbert Eugene Godwin, David Godwin, Tommy Godwin, Terry Godwin, Steven Burkett,
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of arrangements.
