In the Oct. 6 edition of The Atmore Advance, in a story concerning Judy McCain-Belk and Jo Bonner, some information was incorrect.
It was stated that Bonner had to change his plans to attend the Pork and Politics event held at the Lions Community Center. In fact, his plans to attend a debate with McCain-Belk the week before were postponed due to Tropical Storm Isidore, which forced a postponement of the entire event.
McCain-Belk was not scheduled to debate Bonner at the Pork and Politics event held on Oct. 3, but she was allowed to say a few words to the audience in attendance. No debate between the two candidates was scheduled.
