The First National Bank of Atmore has not only earned the BauerFinancial highest Five-Star Rating this quarter, but has proven itself time and time again. Achieving this feat for more than 10 straight years, without falter, puts The First National Bank of Atmore on a plane attained by only the best and strongest banks in the country. Only 18 percent of the nation's banks can claim this distinction of earning BauerFinancial's coveted Exceptional Performance Rating.
"Lower fees, personal service and friendly faces that you recognize and that recognize you are the three major reasons people like banking with community banks like The First National Bank of Atmore," said Karen L. Dorway, president of the research firm. "Sometimes, you want to go where everybody knows your name, just like the song says.
"People want to bank where the employees know them and treat them as a person – not an account number. Community banks like The First National Bank of Atmore are permanent fixtures in the towns and cities they serve.
"They contribute to local causes and are an integral part of the neighborhood. They care about the community because they are the community. They're your neighbors and friends. So, the fact that The First National Bank of Atmore is rated five stars says almost as much about the community as it does about the bank itself."
