Downtown Pensacola hosts three Gallery Night events a year. "Light up the Night" is a premiere festive event that begins with the lighting of the Christmas tree and Ferdinand Plaza. Over two dozen art galleries and specialty shops stay open late and offer refreshments and special displays of art as well as demonstrations. This is a free family event, and maps are provided at each gallery location and the trolleys provide free transportation.
