EA Cougars clear bench in Tuesday's homecourt victory

The Escambia Academy varsity boys basketball team took on Clarke Prep Tuesday night at home. The Cougars defeated the Gators in a game in which every member of the Cougar team scored.
The first quarter of play was dominated by Clarke Prep as they led the Cougars 17-9 going into the second quarter.
However, the Cougars gained the lead early in the second quarter, and the Gators would trail for the remainder of the game. The Cougars put up twenty-seven points in this quarter, seventeen in the third quarter, and twenty-five in the fourth, to top the Gators 78-46.
Leading the Cougars' scoring was senior Jace Beasley who posted 17 points, three rebounds, and one steal. Robert Hardy followed with 14 points, seven rebounds, and three steals. Bradford Price had 12 points, one rebound, and four steals.
David Daniel scored 10 points with one rebound and one steal, Cole Norton scored five points with four rebounds and two steals, Chris Moore had five points, two rebounds, and four steals, Zach Smith had five points, three rebounds, and one steal, Cody White had two points, four rebounds, and one steal, Steven Shirley had two points, three rebounds, and three steals, Matt Amerson had two points and two rebounds, Billy McCann had two points and six rebounds, and Zach Thomas had two points and one rebound.
