An accident on the interstate injured at least two people Saturday afternoon.
The accident occured at 1 p.m. on I-65 near mile marker 64. The wreck involved a 1991 Mazda. The driver of the vehicle, Jonathan Carpenter, and the passenger, Nathan Carpenter, were both injured and were taken from the scene by a Lifeflight helicopter.
Details of the accident were incomplete at press time, as a final, formal report on the incident had not been filed.
