Resident points out potential waste in state education expenditures
Due to copyright laws, The Advance is not able to print the graphic from The Mobile Register that Chris Terry wanted published with his guest column. Scores for all of the Atmore area schools were reported in a story that ran on March 2 in the Advance. Scores from the Brewton City School System were not reported because no Atmore children attend those schools.
Below is a partial listing of the State of Alabama Education Trust Fund Budget. The listing could not be run in its entirety, but some of the expenditures Terry alludes to in his guest column are included here.
