As part of its Extraordinary Women Curriculum, First Presbyterian Church of Atmore is inviting the public to attend a mini videotape series on Family Topics and Women's Issues.
Participants can enjoy talks by women such as Lisa McMinn, Sharon Hart Morris, Connie Neal and Jane Parshall as they share family concerns that women have. Some of the topics are "The Influence of Your Family Origin," "Mothering Strategies," "Passing On Your Faith," "Encouragement and Strategies for Moms" and other subjects relating to family life and women's needs.
This series will inspire, challenge and enhance the family life of any woman.
The six-week course will begin on April 1 at First Presbyterian Church and run through May 6. The sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 9:30-11 a.m., and childcare will be provided.
It is imperative that you register beforehand in order for organizers to schedule childcare and order the booklets. The cost of the course is $12.
For more information or to register in advance, call the church office at 368-5453.
