Atmore Tee-Ball League kicks off its 2003 season

The Atmore Tee-Ball League kicked off its 2003 season with a bang Saturday, hosting Opening Day ceremonies and playing a full schedule of games before the rains came again.
Games continued Monday night after a brief shower, and contests are scheduled all this week. The following is a recap of some of the games played in the first two days of the season:
Mets 35, Coolers 11
For the Mets, Cameron Murphy scored five runs while Justin Hiebert scored five times and drove in a pair of runs. Brett Helton scored five runs and drove in six, while Brennen Stewart crossed the plate four times and drove in six runs. Brittany Weaver collected three RBI while Coby Smith scored five times and knocked in a pair of runs and Tanner Smith drove in two runs. Taylor West scored five times and drove in three runs while Austin Hadley crossed the plate five times and drove in five runs. Mikayla Spruill scored once and drove in a run while Taylor Weaver knocked in a pair of runs.
For the Coolers, Tucker Boatwright scored a run while Kortland Peebles scored a run and drove in another and Robin Swift scored twice and drove in a run. Gage White scored twice and drove in two runs while Ja'Darius Brown and Koty Morgan both scored once. Canyon Moye scored once and drove in two runs while Raymon Johnson scored a run and collected an RBI, Body Hadley drove in two runs and Baccari Ramer scored once.
Jawbreakers 36,
Pumpers 22
For the Jawbreakers, Scott Brantley scored six runs while Alex Pigford scored six runs and drove in a run. Amber Greenwood scored six times and drove in five runs while Tyler Sanspreee crossed the plate six times and drove in four runs. Matthew Quimby scored five runs and collected nine RBI while Carlos McNeil scored once and drove in four runs, Joshua Ferrell scored once and drove in three runs and Joseph Ferrell scored twice and collected two RBI. Beth Hiebert scored once and drove in two runs, as did Emmanyl Etheridge. During the game, Brantley hit a double in the third inning.
For the Pumpers, Lacorya scored twice and drove in two runs, Nolan did the same thing, Samantha scored a run, Tyshawn scored a run and drove in two others, Garrett scored three times and drove in two runs and Madison scored four times and collected a pair of RBI. John scored three times and drove in five runs while Maggie scored three times and drove in four runs and Devonte scored once. Ashleigh scored a run and drove in two runs while Darrius scored a run and had two RBI and Xavier drove in a pair of runs.
Atmore Insurance James Gang 19, Dr. Rice's Jawbreakers 18
For the James Gang, Damion Howard scored four runs while Kaylee Cox scored twice and Casey Jackson scored three runs and drove in four more. Johnny Stephens, Jr., drove in a run while D'Andrez McCarthy scored twice and drove in three runs, as did Drake Hamilton. Blake Allen scored twice while Tristan Montgomery scored twice and drove in four runs. Melik McMillan drove in a pair of runs while Christopher Fay scored once and Auburn Bailey scored once and drove in a pair of runs.
For the Jawbreakers, Scott Brantley and Emmanyl Etheridge scored a run each while Joseph Ferrell scored twice, as did Amber Greenwood. Beth Heibert crossed the plate four times while Carlos McNeil scored twice, Alex Pigford three times, Matthew Quimby twice and Tyler Sanspree once.
Falcons 21,
Challengers 2
For the Falcons, Allyson Edwards scored twice and drove in two runs while Tristan Brown scored four times and drove in two runs. Bo Ramer scored twice and drove in a run while Madison McGlothern had a run and two RBI. Brodie Amos scored a run and collected four RBI while Kyler McGlotheren scored three times and drove in a run. Kaylee Foster crossed the plate three times and collected an RBI while Penny Banda had two runs and an RBI and Wesley Jefferson scored twice and drove in three runs. Bradley Crenshaw scored once and drove in a pair of runs while Katelyn Godwin and Christopher Davis both had an RBI.
For the Challengers, Phillip Myrick and D.J. Carter each scored runs, with Tiffany Hadley and Gavin Taylor driving them in.
Angels 28,
Blue Flames 15
For the Angels, Tadd had four runs while Grayson scored four times and K.K. scored four times and drove in a pair of runs. Trey scored six times and drove in seven runs while Aaron scored four times and collected three RBI. Brice scored three times and drove in five runs while Xan drove in a run and Lil Rie drove in eight runs. Kaitlyn also scored three times.
For the Blue Flames, Joseph Samson scored once and drove in a run while Madison Malone scored a run and Jimmy Overstreet and Ty Anthony Riley both collected an RBI. Allison Woods scored three times and drove in a pair of runs while Cameron Harp drove in a run and scored once. TyShawn Riley scored twice and drove in four runs while Bradley Sanders scored three times and DyQwan Lee scored once and drove in a run. Kishan Patel drove in two runs while Derick Peebles scored three times and drove in two runs.
Oilers 34, Shockers 16
For the Oilers, Malcolm Black drove in a run while Hunter Dettling scored twice and drove in a run and Nathan Donald scored twice and drove in a run. Taylor McGhee scored four times and drove in a run while Kenneth Sager scored three times and drove in a run. Dustin Lindsey scored seven times with an RBI while Clay Walker scored six times and had an RBI and Steven Wilson scored three times. Evan Graham had six RBI and Shanna Gregson scored once. In the top of the fifth, Black turned an unassisted double play by catching a pop up and tagging out the runner at second.
For the Shockers, Alexis Clark scored three times and drove in a run, Cruz Angeles drove in a run and Mason Caraway scored twice and drove in two runs. Steven Keane scored once and drove in two runs, Brad Quimby scored once and Austin Shuttlesworth scored three times and drove in two runs. Evan Riley scored twice and drove in two runs while Jake Leachman scored once and drove in a run. Kevin Brown, Jr., drove in two runs, Arron Lambeth scored once and drove in two runs and Joshua Hill scored once.
