Escambia County Middle School Dance Teacher Reed Adams recently attended the "Teacher's Winter Intensive Dance Seminar" in New York City.
Frank Hatchett is a faculty member of the Broadway Dance Center, and he invited Adams to participate with other teachers from around the country when she attended the Dancemaker's Convention last fall.
"I met some wonderful people in the business of professional dance teaching," Adams said. "And I learned wonderful new material to bring home to our middle school students and our after-school program."
Adams will return to New York this summer to study again at the Broadway Dance Center, and she will take classes with the "Radio City Rockettes" at Radio City Music Hall in Rockefeller Center.
Adams said she is looking forward to bringing exciting new material home to Atmore's students.
