Betty Powell Crook gives Nell Kelly a big hug during the Barnes' Boys reunion, held Saturday at David's Catfish Cabin in downtown Atmore. The reunion has been meeting for approximately nine years now according to Walter Welch of the class of 47 who helps put the gathering together. "I've known everyone here since the first grade," said Welch. "It's a great group of people and we have a lot of fun."
