Miss Atmore contest to be held May 10

The 25th annual Miss Atmore pageant will b held Saturday, May 10 at ECHS Hodnette Auditorium at 7 p.m. The pageant is produced by the Atmore Arts Council and is one of the community's oldest traditions.
For 25 years lovely young ladies from the Atmore area have demonstrated their individual style, grace, and wit in lavish stage productions which are known for their beautiful scenery and spectacular musical production numbers.
The judges are selected from outside the community and have experience in theatre, music, or pageants. The names of the three judges will be kept secret until the night of the pageant.
Contestants are sophomores, juniors, and seniors and are sponsored by area businesses who also help to offer an impressive list of prizes to Miss Atmore and her runners up.
In keeping with the pageant's reputation of "Never a Dull Moment", entertainment will be provided by the students of the Atmore dance department and the Escambia County Middle School Dance Team, both directed by Miss reed Adams.
The Miss Atmore pageant represents a full evening of entertainment! Tickets are sold at the door for $6 for adults and $3 for children under 12. To take advantage of the "Dollar-Off" discounts, buy your tickets from a contestant or performer in advance.
