Mrs, Betty Qualls Carnley, 75, of Atmore. died Saturday. She was born in Uriah on March 6,1928 and was a bookkeeper with Vanity Fair Mills,
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carnley; a sister, Mary Luker and her parents, Dave Qualls and Resa Chambless.
She is survived a son, Michael Carnley of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a daughter, Susan Sanks of Atmore; a sister, Made Coleman of Atmore; a grandson, Tony Sanks of Brewton, and two nieces, Patty Davis and Peggy Rowley, both of Atmore.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Davis officiating Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Jerry Davis, Roy Rowley, Chad Helton, Jason Timothy, Donnie Boatwright and Mike Arnold..
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home,INC was in charge of arrangements.
Annie Ruth Kimmons Hall

Mrs. Annie Ruth Kimmons Hall, 65, of Davisville died Thursday. A native of Pine Barren, she had spent most of her life in Davisville. She was a retired employee of Escambia Drug Store and attended the Baptist church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Lizzie Kimmons and a brother, Edward Kimmons.
She is survived by husband Ray Hall of Davisville; daugher Shannon Hall of Mexia; two brothers Talbert L. Kimmons and wife Nila, of Enon, Fla. and Raymond W. Kimmons and wife Barbara of Davisville; three sisters, Mary E. Garrett of Seminole, Katie L. Lee of Alamosa, Colo., and Gladys J. Smith of Seminole; sister-in-law Deloys Kimmons of Davisville and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Sullivan Cemetery with Rev.. Mike Gindle officiating. Pallbearers will be Von Kimmons, Levon Kimmons, Ruben Kimmons, Tommie Sellers, Doyal Smith and Shorty Brown.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
