An Atmore man who was arrested in November on pornography charges is headed to trial next week.
According to reports, Rodger Lindsey was charged Nov. 21 with production of obscene matter containing visual reproduction of persons under 17 years of age involved in obscene acts. There are three counts lodged against Lindsey, and one additional charge of possession of pornographic material.
The arrest was made by the Atmore Police Department and agents from the 21st Judicial Circuit Drug task force.
According to the district attorney's office, an attempt was made to reach an agreement before the start of a trial, but none was accepted and the case will proceed.
The trial, if it moves ahead, will be held in the Escambia County Courthouse in Brewton. Jury selection should begin this week.
