Escambia County Library System Board will meet at 1 p.m. in the Atmore Library.

Decendants of Joseph Crocket Rutherford will hold their 12th family reunion starting at 10:30 a.m. at Davisville Community Center (old Davisville School) on Hwy 97. Bring a covered dish and drinks (no alcoholic beverages) and any old family pictures. Lunch will be between 12:30 and 1:00 p.m.

Atmore Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. at the Lion's Club Community Center. A round table discussion will be held.
Sept. 16
Northview High School Open House will be at 7 p.m. beginning in the students' homeroom. Refreshments will be served in the cafeteria from 6:30 to 7 p.m.
Sept. 18
Trinity Episcopal Church will hold a no fee Community Games Night for the entire family from 6:30-9:30 p.m. There will be games for all ages: Chess, Monopoly, bridge, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, checkers and more, plus videos for small children. [An adult must accompany all children.] Light refreshments will be served in a smoke free environment at Trinity, 203 S. Carney St.

Oct. 1
The ECHS Class of 1958 is celebrating its 45th reunion and invites the classes of 1956, 1957, 1958, 1959 and 1960 and their spouses or dates for a multi-class party at 7 p.m. Oct. 25 at the Wisteria in downtown Atmore. Atmore YMCA has opened registration for the afterschool program for 2003-2004 school year. After Baby Comes, a free support group for new moms with babies up to six months old, meets the third Thursday of each month from 10 a.m. until noon at Baptist Medical Park in Pensacola. The seniors of Huxford center invite those 60 and over in the Huxford, Uriah, McCullough, Little Rock and Goodway area and their spouses of any age. The center is located in the Huxford Masonic Lodge across from Huxford School and is open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is no sign, but come on in.
