Flomaton wins at homecoming

Flomaton Hurricanes played the J.F. Shields Panthers at homecoming. The Canes came away with their biggest win of the season, defeating the Panthers 58-0 in the final game of the year.
The Canes received at the kick off, and Duck Wesley ran it back 97 yards for the touchdown. The PAT was good and it was 7-0 Canes.
The defense held and forced a Panther punt which Brian Wesley received and took it into the end zone from 11 yards out. The point after failed, and the score was 13-0.
The Canes took the next kick and marched down the field with Wesley again carrying the ball in for the TD from seven yards out. The PAT was good, taking the score to 20-0 in favor of the home team. When the Canes got the ball back, Duck Wesley brought it back for the score on an 11-yard run. The PAT was no good, and it was 26-0 at the end of the first quarter.
In the second, Brian Wesley went in from the 28-yard line for a TD. The PAT was blocked, and the score was 32-0 Canes with 3:12 left in the first half.
In the third quarter, the Panthers received but could not move the ball, and punted it away. Brian Wesley scored again on a 31-yard touch down, but the PAT was no good, taking the score to 45-0 Canes. Duck Wesley ran a 19-yard touchdown with only 5 seconds left in the third quarter. The Canes then took the ball in the fourth and Brian Wesley ran 96 yards for the touchdown. The PAT was good and the final score was 58-0. The Hurricanes had 349 total yards, and Brian Wesley had 304 yards and five touchdowns. The team was 7-3 on the season.
