Class of '84 will be meeting at Pizza Hut every Wednesday starting Feb. 18 ending Mar. 31 at 6:30 p.m.
Feb. 19
The Passion of the Christ – The Strand Theater will hold a meeting at 5 p.m. for church pastors to discuss viewing by large groups. Please attend and schedule your group. All pastors or their representatives and all denominations are welcome.
The 21st Judicial Drug Task Force will present drug identification training for parents at Flomaton High School at 7 p.m. The public is invited to this free training, which will include information on the drugs of abuse, behavioral indicators of drug use in children and youth and intervention information. Rib Cook (Charco Pit) with potato salad, baked beans and dessert can be purchased from David's Catfish. Feb. 22
Jay will be honoring Matthew Dobson from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at the Jay Community Center. Mr. Dobson's most recent accomplishments include becoming first American ever to win the Disney World Marathon in January 2004 and winning the Blue Angel Marathon in 2003.

Relay for Life Jay Units next Team Captain's meeting will be held on Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the Jay Hospital Royal Room located at 14114 S. Alabama Street. All team captains and those interested in forming a team for Relay are invited. Volunteers also are needed for the event. Joy Night will be held at The Christ Temple Evangelistic Pentecostal Church, located at 240 Carver Avenue. Service will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. The speaker for this occasion will be Evangelist &Co-pastor Irma Redmond, Gospel Temple No. 2 of Walnut Hill. Guest soloists and choirs will be featured on this night. Elder T. Smith and church family invite all to attend.

The NAACP will hold "NAACP Black Extravaganza," at 3 p.m.
Drs. William and Donna Paul and Rev. Days will speak on black history according to the Bible. Dinner will be served after the program.

The Atmore Alumni Chapter (Concordia College) Selma banquet will be held at Bishop's hall (Deliverance Ministry of Jesus Christ), 103 2nd Ave, Atmore at 7 p.m. Guest speaker is Dr. Julius Jenkins, President of Concordia College. MLK Little League and Junior League registration will be held at McNeils Square from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. Children must be registered by a parent or legal guardian and proof of age is required. Ages to be eligible are 9 -14.
