Debbie Barnett
Debbie Mason Barnett, 45, of Fayettville, N.C. died Saturday, April 17, 2004. Mrs. Barnett was a native of Uriah and resided in Fayettville for the past five years. She was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church and was a 1976 graduate of the Monroe Academy in Monroeville. She attended Bob Jones University in Greenville, S.C.
She is survived by her husband, Scott Barnett of Fayettville; parents, Tommy and Betty Mason of Uriah; two sisters, Gayle Williams of Manhattan, Carolyn and Chuck Whitaker of Camden.
Arrangements being handled by Monroe Chapel Funeral Home.
Yvonne Corley
Mrs. Yvonne Turk Corley, 82, of Walnut Hill died Wednesday, April 21, 2004 in Pensacola. She was born in Canoe on September 8, 1921 to the late Thomas H. and Jennie Elizabeth Marshall Turk. She was retired as a bookkeeper with Escambia Grain corp.
She is preceded in death by her brothers, Marshall Turk, Tom Turk, Eugene Turk, and Ivan Turk.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, William H. "Bill" Corley of Walnut Hill; four daughters, Marsha L. Green of Walnut Hill, Margaret Jackson of Youngsville, La., Patricia S. Dortch of Bratt, Beverly J. Corley of Deerfield Beach; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Services were Saturday, April 24, 2004 at 10 a.m. from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Chewning officiating. Interment followed in Walnut Hill Baptist Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Adam Dortch, Bart Green, Rodney White, Bill Jackson, Tom Haddican and Billy Lovelette.

Randy Kirby
Mr. Randy Eugene Kirby, 43, died Wednesday, April 21, 2004 in Thomasville. Mr. Kirby was a native and lifetime resident of McCullough and attended the Community of Christ Church. He was a 1978 Graduate of Escambia County High School, a graduate of Jeff Davis Technical College, and a former employee of Staff Chevrolet and Thomas Collision. He is preceded in death by his father, William E. "Jim" Kirby, Sr.
He is survived by two sons, Kyle A. Kirby and Clayton Kirby both of Atmore; mother, Pauline R. Kirby of McCullough; sister, Kathryn Kirby Williams of Semmes; three brothers, William E. Kirby, Jr of Poarch, Jimmie L. Kirby of Thomasville, and Eddie P. Kirby of McCullough; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside services were held Friday, April 23, 2004 at 3:30 p.m. at the Huxford Community of Christ Cemetery with Elder Charles McPhearson officiating and Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Eastside Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
