Jeffrey Adam Whisenant
Mr. Jeffrey Adam Whisenant died Saturday, September 18, 2004 at the age of 41 in Atmore.
He was born in Guntersville, AL, on August 31, 1963 to Murray and Viola Lambert Whisenant.
Survivors include his Wife: Penny Whisenant; three Daughters, Holly Benner, April Barber and Alyssa Whisenant all of Atmore; Father and Step-Mother, Murray &Carleen Whisenant of Arab, Al; Mother, Viola Conn of Atmore; two Brothers, Brandon Conn of Atmore and Jeramy Conn of Arab, Al; two Sisters, Tammy Dotson of Arab, Al and Lisa Hernandez of Houston, TX.
Services were held Thursday, September 23, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. at the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Earl Harrison officiating.
Graveside services were held Friday, September 24, 2004 at 1:30 P.M. at Union Grove Cemetery in Arab, Al.
Family received friends Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 6PM to 8PM.

Viola Blythe
Ms. Viola Blythe of Atmore died Monday, September 27, 2004 at the age of 78 at her residence. Funeral services are Friday, October 1 at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Gillard Baptist Church.

Laura Diana Vogel
Ms. Laura Diana Vogel age, 27 of Atmore died on Monday, September 27, 2004 at her residence. Ms.Vogel was a Security Officer at Creek Bingo Palace in Atmore.
Survivors include her Parents Roger and Judy Vogel of Atmore; Maternal Grandparents James &Wilma Sells of Satsuma, AL.; Aunts and Uncles, Micheal and Janis Miller, Larry and Kathy Sells and Reese and Marlene Walker; Cousins, Marsha Payne, Dannelle Smith, Stephanie James, Stephanie Walker, Emily Payne, Molly Smith; and numerous Friends. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 29,2004 at Atmore Memorial Chapel with Bro. Larry Trawick and Rev. Louis Caballero officiating.
Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 28, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Active Pallbearers will be Scott Griffey, Kevin Snow, Jerry Faircloth, John O'Barr, Jacob Thomas, and Josh Thomas. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Faircloth, Jason Griffey, Kevin McGhee, Jacob Bryd, Daniel McGhee, Brad Orso, and Steve White.

James L. Leslie
Mr. James L. (Sunny) Leslie died September 19, 2004 at the age of 53 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. He is preceded in death by his mother Lila M. Leslie.
He is survived by one Aunt, Mary Lee House; six uncles, Charlie and Laura Leslie, Robert and Minnie Leslie all of Atmore, Andrew Leslie Jr. of Q Waverly, FL, Mark and Pearl Leslie of Mobile, William Leslie of New York; a special Cousin and caregiver Clarence House; adopted Sister Patricia and Claude Wiggins; one Nephew Tyron Wiggins; one Niece Shgermany Wiggins all of Atmore.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 25, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Full Gospel Baptist Church.

Anerable Oliver Thomas
Mr. Anerable Oliver Thomas died Tuesday, September 21, 2004 at the age of 81 at his residence.
He was a native of Conway County, SC and a resident of Atmore for many years.
He served in the United States Army and was preceded in death by his Parents, Moss and Jessie Thomas; and one Son, Joe M. Thomas.
Survivors include his Wife, Maude Thomas of Atmore, three Daughters, Linda Thomas of Chesapeake Bay, VA, Micesha Thomas of White Plains, NY and Deborah Young of Yonkers, NY; nine Sons, Albert Thomas, Morris Lee Thomas, Daryl Thomas, Darnell Thomas all of Mt. Vernon, NY, David Thomas of Chesapeake Bay, VA, Leonard Thomas of White Plains, NY, Da'quan Thomas of Atmore, Edd Watson of Ft. Steward, GA and Herman Womack of Century; and one Sister, Ladell Lawrence of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 2:00 P.M. at Turner Funeral Chapel with Bishop Willie L. Williams officiating.
Burial followed at Stallworth Cemetery in Atmore.
Visitation was held Monday, September 27, from 1PM until 8:30PM at Turner Funeral Chapel.

John Nealie Williams, Jr.
Mr. John Nealie Williams, Jr. died Thursday, September 23, 2004 at the age of 75 at Baptist Hospital.
He was a native of Mobile and a resident of Atmore for many years. He was preceded in death by his Parents, John Nealie Williams, Sr. and Bessie Mae Williams.
Survivors include two Sons, Lewis Black of Montgomery and Renard Williams of Pensacola; four sisters, Edwina Salter of Atmore, Mattie Mae Knight of Mobile, Deloris Woodruff of Sutland, MD and Eula Mallard of Pensacola; three Brothers, J.C. Williams of Baltimore, MD, Robert "Peter" Williams of Hanes City, FL and Roosevelt Williams of Hartford, CT; six Grandchildren and two Great-Grandchildren
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 11 a.m. at Turner Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Alfonzo Williams, Sr. officiating.
Burial followed at Fairview Cemetery in Atmore.
Visitation was held Monday, September 27, from 1PM until 8PM at Turner Funeral Chapel

Audrey P. Rabon
Mrs. Audrey P. Rabon died Friday, September 24, 2004 at the age of 76 in Mobile.
She was a homemaker born in England on February 29, 1928.
She is preceded in death by her Husband, James E. Rabon.
Survivors include two Step-Sons, James E. Pete Rabon and wife Shira of Monroeville and Walter Rabon and wife Sharon of Atmore; two Step-Daughters, Laura Ridditt and husband Wayne of Uriah and Ellen Jay and husband Donald of Rocky Hill, AL.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 2 P.M. at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with the Bro. Ronnie Williams and Bro. Jim Perry officiating.
Burial followed at Uriah City Cemetery.
Family received friends Tuesday, September 28, from 1PM until service time.

Mrs. Elmer Lawson died Sunday, September 26, 2004 at the age of 88 at West Florida Hospital in Pensacola.
