Sarah Ward
Infant Sarah Ward passed away on Monday, October 4, 2004 at a Jacksonville FL hospital.
Sarah is survived by her Parents, Michael and Lauren Ward of Walnut Hill, two Brothers, Andrew Ward and Kollin Ward, both of Atmore her Sister, Ashley Ward of Atmore; Grandparents, Bennie Ward of Pensacola, Vickie Ward of Atmore, Linda Hamilton of Pensacola, and Eric Landolt of San Marcos, CA; her great-grandparents, Eddie Muse of Bratt, J.W. Lowery of Atmore, Flora Lowery of Century, Ruth and Robert Gates of Walnut Hill, and Russell and Maxine Lassitter of Booneville; three Aunts and one Uncle.
Graveside Services were held Sunday, October 10, 2004 at the Byrneville Methodist Cemetery with Rev. Mike Grindle officiating and Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Agnes Roley
Mrs. Agnes Roley, 88, born in Lottie, Alabama and a resident of Bay Minette, Alabama, died Friday, October 8, 2004 at Atmore Community Hospital. She was a retired cafeteria, manager at the Perdido School with the Baldwin County Board of Education.
She is survived by her Daughter-in-law: Mary Ann Roley, Bay Minette. Three Granddaughters: Tonya (Tommy) Jackson, Gina (Allen) Sharpless, Karen (Kendall) McGhee. One grandson Eric Roley. Seven Great Grandchildren. Four brothers David Chambless, California, Charlie Chambless, Eight Mile, Wilburn Chambless, Crestview, FL. Edward Chambless, Lillian. One sister: Ollie Durrough, Bay Minette.
The funeral service were held Monday, October 11, 2004 at 2.00 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with her nephew, Donald Roley, giving the eulogy. Interment followed at Halls Fork Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers were Frank Propst, Tommy Jackson, Allen Sharpless, Kendall McGhee, David Drew and Dewey Everett. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clarence Roley, Tommy Roley and Charles Smith and Ed McGehee.
The family received friends Sunday, October 10, 2004 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Norris Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are by Norris Funeral Home.
Norris Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
Myrtle Merchant
Mrs. Myrtle Merchant, 83, passed away Monday, October 11, 2004 in Century. Mrs. Merchant was a native of Wardville, FL and a resident of Atmore for most of her life. She attended the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her Husband, Arthur Merchant and a Granddaughter, Danielle Merchant.
Survivors include her Son, Paul Merchant of Atmore, her Daughter, Judy Amerson of Bratt. A Sister, Kathleen Boone of Memphis, TN. Four Grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. George Nall and Rev. Erskine Vines officiating.
Burial will follow at Pine Barren Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2004 between 6:00 and 9:00p.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Billy Franklin, Wayne Vines, Kenny Vines, Erskine Vines, Charlie Beck and Jimmy Beck.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
