Mr. Jeff Ross will be the guest speaker on Monday night Nov. 15 for the Atmore Historical Society meeting at 7 p.m. in the Peavy-Webb Building in Heritage Park. Mr. Ross will discuss Indian mounds on Mound Island located in the Tensaw Delta in Baldwin County.
All members of the Historical Society are encouraged to attend the final meeting of 2004. President Byard Swift, Jr., invites any one who is interested in preserving the history of the Atmore area for tomorrow's generations to attend.
November 15
United Bank Auburn vs. Alabama Blood Drive Monday, Nov. 15 from 1:00p.m. to 6:00p.m. at United Bank. Look for the American Red Cross Blood Mobile! All donors will receive a complimentary t-shirt. Donors must present identification prior to donating. Bring a valid driver's license, donor card, or 2 alternative forms of ID. All blood types needed.
November 17
Northwest Florida Blood Center will have the bloodmobile at Atmore Hospital. The need for blood is real. All types of blood are needed. Your donation will stay in the community and could mean a lifetime to someone else. Please give Wed. Nov. 17 between 10:00 a.m. &5:00 p.m. "It's About Life"
November 18-20
Jewelry Sale to benefit the Atmore Community Hospital Auxiliary $5.00 Anything Thursday &Friday Nov. 18th &19th 7:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. and Saturday Nov. 20th 8:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. at Atmore Community Hospital Mayson Auditorium.

The 21st annual Petterman Station Arts and Crafts festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be arts, crafts and food. Booths are available for $45 without electricity and $50 with electricity. Contact Alice Chandler, P.O. Box 164, Petterman, AL 36471 or phone 251-564-2260.

The Humane Society of Escambia County will be having pet pictures with Santa Claus (Santa Paws) at Animal Medical Services Saturday, November 20th from 9:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. Pictures will be a 4×6 digital camera photo for a min. donation of $5.00. Children are also welcome. Proceeds will benefit the Spay and Neuter fund. For more info contact Susanne Sirmon 368-9349.

The Middleton-Milton Family is holding their first Annual Family Reunion the week of Thanksgiving in Atmore. Activities are scheduled from November 24-28th.
