Obituaries for December 19, 2004 edition of the Atmore Advance
Ethel Lorene Holley
Mrs. Ethel Lorene "Momma" Holley, 81, passed through the door into the arms of Christ on Wed., Dec. 15, 2004, surrounded by her children.
Momma was a native of DeFuniak Springs, FL, a long time resident of Century and attended the First Baptist Church of Century. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Howard Holley, a daughter, Brenda Strength, and a great-granddaughter, Hollie Miller.
We rejoice in our tears knowing that Momma is with her Lord and Savior. We will miss her dearly, but look forward in confidence in sharing eternity with her. Momma taught us to live for and trust in Jesus Christ. Next to her love for Jesus, her family was considered to be her greatest treasure.
Survivors include: two sons; Rickie and Sherry Holley of Petrey, AL, and Gary and Becky Holley of Jay; five daughters, Barbara and Clifton Dunsford of Century, Kathy and Sam Johnston of Red Level, Faye and Donald Godwin of McDavid, Tami and Freddie Calloway of Century and Carolyn and Junior Henderieth of Pensacola, two brothers; Thurman McCormick of DeFuniak Springs, and Houston McCormick of DeFuniak Springs, six sisters; 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and one great- great grandchild.
Funeral services were held Sat., Dec. 18, 2004 at 10 am at the First Baptist Church of Century with Bro. Gene Stokes and Bro. Michael Wiggins officiating.
Burial followed at Beulah Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation was held Fri., Dec. 17, 2004 between 5:30 pm and 8 pm at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Kent Calloway, Blake Calloway, Mark Dunsford, Mitch Dunsford, Michael Holley and Vincent Holley. Honorary Pallbearers were Brian Johnston, David Strength, Dewayne Holley, Howard Holley and Marcus Godwin.
Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.

Mrs. Marilyn Burston, 42, of Atmore died Thurs., Dec. 16, 2004 at Knollwood Park Hospital in Mobile, AL.
