Houston H. Allen
ATMORE – Mr. Houston H. Allen, age 98, passed away Tuesday, February 15 in Atmore. He was a retired maintenance worker on the U.S.S. Alabama and a native of Monroe County.
He is survived by three sons, Grady Allen of Bay Minette, Carston Allen of Uriah, and Ronald Allen of Atmore; one daughter, Nadine Mosley of West Mobile; 22 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 18 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home with the Rev. C.L. Langford officiating. Graveside services followed in McCullough Cemetery. The family received friends Friday morning at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of all arrangements.
Lee Dannelly
SPANISH FORT – Mr. Lee Dannelly, age 82, passed away Tuesday, February 15 at his residence.
Mr. Dannelly was a veteran of World War II. He retired from civil service at Robins A.F.B. in Georgia and was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a native of McCollough.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Sims Dannelly of Spanish Fort; one son, Lee Dannelly of Macon, Ga.; four daughters, Chris Frampton of Malbis, Lori Roth of Sacramento, Calif., Pamela Rich of Fort Walton Beach, and Barbara Aly of Bay Minette; one brother, Travis Dannelly of Eight Mile, Ala.; one sister, Betty Dean of Ottie, Ala.; six grandchildren, Dr. Travis Frampton, Dolores Faloney, Adam Dannelly, Brian Frampton, Joseph Marshall, and Alexis Dannelly; along with three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 19 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne. The family received friends on Friday, February 18 at the funeral home. Graveside services and interment were held at McCollough Cemetery on Saturday.

Robert Michael Kerns
Davisville, Fla. – Mr. Robert Michael "Bob" Kerns, age 47, passed away Wednesday, February 16 at a Pensacola hospital.
Mr. Kerns was a native of Hutchinson, Kan., a former resident of Milton and a resident of Davisville for the past ten years.
He is survived by his wife, Michelle Kerns of Davisville; four sons, Robert Mitchell Kerns of Pensacola, Robert Jr. Kerns of Milton, Jesse Kerns and David Kerns, both of Davisville; one daughter, Bethany DiPaulo of Davisville; his mother, Beverly Kerns of East Milton; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Kerns of Pensacola; a brother, Bill Kerns of Milton; and a sister, Charlene Goodwill of Milton.
Funeral services were held Saturday, February 19 at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Harrison officiating.
Visitation was held Friday, February 18 at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Mary M. Timothy
Uriah – Mary M. Timothy, age 77, passed away Thursday February 17 at Monroe County Hospital. She was a native of Mississippi and had resided in Uriah most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the McCullough Christian Center.
She is survived by two sons, Eugene Timothy of Uriah and Jerry Timothy of McCullough; one daughter, Marcine Turberville of Uriah; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held Friday, February 18 at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services were held shortly thereafter in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Daniels officiating. Graveside services followed in Poplar Springs Cemetery in Uriah with Johnson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.
David L. Powell
Enon, Fla. – Mr. David L. Powell, age 63, passed away Friday, February 18 at his residence. He was retired from Masland Carpets as a shipping clerk. He was a native of Baldwin County.
He is survived by his wife, Jewell Hall Powell; one daughter, JoAnn Morris of Enon; two grandchildren, David and Alexis Amerson; three step-grandchildren, Jason, Daniel, and Brandy Morris; four brothers, Dolan Powell of Bay Minette, Leon "BoBo" Powell of Fairhope, William Powell of Nokomis, and Bertice Powell, Jr. of Taylorsville, N.C.; six sisters, Clauice Donald, Opal Vinson, Jeanette Smith, Mable Leggett, Virginia Leggett, and Tyese Brown, all of Bay Minette.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 20 at 2 p.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lonnie Penton and Pastor Kevin Gibson officiating. Graveside services will follow in Bay Springs Full Gospel Church Cemetery in Bay Springs, Fla. Active pallbearers will be nephews. The family received friends Saturday, February 19 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. in charge of all arrangements.
