Already political fur is flying in Montgomery as a result of the upcoming gubernatorial election. Lt. Gov. Lucy Baxley claims the governor has cut large sums of money from the education budget. Gov. Bob Riley counters saying that money is not being cut from the budget but, rather, is being relocated into other educational funds.
Baxley countered that by pretty much saying "nuh uh."
How much longer can we stand our political officials behaving like children in the schoolyard?
How long will we stand by and let public officials from the highest offices in government down, make this state and this country look ridiculous.
It seems that more could be accomplished in Montgomery by having the governor and his second-in-command work on a budget together than by bickering just because it's election time.
But then again sometimes children just need to fight it out in the schoolyard
