Questions about Atmore First Baptist
I am Larry Lamb, a member of Jackson, Tn. First Baptist Church and was a visitor to your city for a week in September last year. I was part of the Tennessee Baptist Disaster Relief Team.
It was heart breaking to see the disaster that hurricance dealt to your town. As part of the relief team, I was glad we were able to leave it a little better than when we arrived. Every worker I spoke to while there was impressed with the fiendliness of your citizens. I hope and pray they have remained optimistic during the recovery process.
We stayed at the Baptist Church on main street and I am curious about their progress in rebuilding. Has the steeple been replaced and other damage repaired? Could you send me a picture?
