Harold Deen Fuller
Atmore – Mr. Harold Deen Fuller, 79, passed away April 23. Funeral services were held April 26 from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Caylor officiating. Graveside services followed in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family received friends April 25 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home.
Mr. Fuller was a Postal Clerk with the United States Postal Service; born in Atmore on June 24, 1931 to the late C.L. and Ruby Hart Fuller. Mr. Fuller was an active member and a deacon of the First Baptist Church of Atmore. He is survived by his wife, Joyce P. Fuller; a daughter, Kimberly Deen Smith and husband, Tommy, of Atmore; three grandsons, Tanner, Logan, and Coby Smith; and two sisters, Johnnie King of Cantonment, Fla. and Joyce Gardner of Velrico, Fla.
Active pallbearers will be Stan Fuller, Carlos Fuller, Russell King, John Gardner, Webb Nall, and Charles Lowery. Honorary pallbearers will be John Shivers Sunday School class of First Baptist Church.

Robert F. McCann
McDavid, Fla. – Mr. Robert F. "Mac" McCann, 66, passed away April 22 at his home. Funeral services were held April 25 at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. James Hughes officiating. Graveside services followed at Crary Memorial. The family received friends April 24 at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Mr. McCann was a native of Molino, Fla. and a resident of McDavid for 35 years. He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the Molino Historical Society. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a past employee of Muldon Ford and Key Ford. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Martha McCann of McDavid; three sons, Robby and wife, Tammy, McCann of Bratt, Fla., Larry and wife, Lisa, McCann of McDavid, and Keith McCann of McDavid; one daughter, Cheryl Macks and husband, Sam, of Century, Fla.; two brothers, Roger and wife, June, McCann, of Milton and Bill and wife, Ethel, McCann of Byrneville, Fla.; two sisters, Louise Nicholson of Pensacola and Doris and husband, Leon, Cassady of Crestview, Fla.; seven granddaughters and two grandsons; and two great-grandsons.
Pallbearers will be Elmo Filligim, Johnny Barrington, Homer Myrick, Lloyd Byrd, Malcolm Peterson, and Kenny Peterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Buck Kelley, Jacob Maholovich, Dabney Langhorne, Fred Jordan, Bill Mullinuex, and Terry Peterson.

Agnes Catherine Joiner Allen
Atmore – Mrs. Agnes Catherine Joiner Allen, age 93, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 in Atmore at her daughter, Molly's, residence following a brief illness. A homemaker, Mrs. Allen was born May 14, 1911, to the late James A. and Rachel Stewart Joiner in Pineville, Fla. The oldest of twelve children, she was preceded in death by seven siblings, a son, Harold Winston Allen, and her beloved husband, R.W. "Bobby" Allen.
As the oldest living active member of Atmore First Assembly of God Church, Granny Allen was the nursery attendant for fifty years until her recent retirement and was active in the Women's Ministries Group and the senior citizens' "Celebrate" group. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, she impacted several generations and leaves a legacy that will continue through generations to come.
Left to celebrate her life are her five children, Daniel Allen and wife, Janice; Molly Norris and husband, Edgar; Mary Lee Morrison and husband, Robert; Irene Goodman; and Annie Joyce McGraw and husband, Wayne; a brother, Hoyt Joiner and wife, Polly; three sisters, Ola Cavens, Hazel Gooch, and Delois Kimmons, 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held from the sanctuary of First Assembly of God Saturday, April 23, 2005, with Reverend W. Don Davis and Reverend Ellen Lesley officiating. Active pallbearers were grandsons, Terry Norris, Darrell Hoffman, Dwayne Allen, Randall Allen, Bill McGraw, Michael Wayne Morrison, Michael Allen, and Steve McGill. Honorary pallbearers were grand-daughters and great-grandchildren. Interment followed at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.

Adell H. White
Excel – Mrs. Adell H. White, age 81, passed away April 23 at an area nursing facility. Funeral services were held April 25 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Monroeville. Graveside services followed in Oak Grove Cemetery in Excel.
Mrs. White was a native of Monroe County and a lifelong resident of Excel. She was a homemaker. She is survived by one son, Calvin Jordan of Molino, Fla.; one brother, Floyd Huggins of Excel; two sisters, Vera Davison of Panama City, Fla. and Faye Turner of Atmore; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Jessica Marie Reif
Walnut Hill – Miss Jessica Marie Reif, 37, passed away April 23. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 27 at 11 a.m. at the Dry Springs Community Church with Bro. Ray McCullough and Bro. Joe Gipson officiating. Graveside services will follow at Dry Springs Cemetery.
Mrs. Reif was a native of Toledo, Ohio, and a resident of Walnut Hill for the past year and attended the Dry Springs Community Church. She is survived by her adoptive parents, Joe and Sylvia Gipson of Walnut Hill.
Kealen Robert Rice
Pensacola – Kealen Robert Rice, age 90, died on April 20, 2005. He was the son of the late Bert Keal Rice and Alma Thom Rice. Mr. Rice is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mary Jo Rice of Pensacola, Florida; his two sons, Glenn K. Rice of Birmingham, Alabama, and Bert W. Rice , and wife, Janice P. Rice, of Atmore, Alabama; grandchildren, Alan A. Rice of New Orleans, Louisiana; Emily Rice Conte, and husband, Christopher T. Conte, of Mobile, Alabama; Matthew B. Rice of Atmore, Alabama; sister, Pauline Elizabeth Horton of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; and brother, David E. Rice of Mobile, Alabama.
Mr. Rice was a retired commercial photographer and owner of Kealen Rice Studios in Homewood, Alabama from 1945 to 1980. He also was a musician in the Lawrence Welk Band earlier in life. During World War II he was a radio operator on B-29 and other aircraft.
Mr. Rice was a native of St. Paul, Minnesota and resided in Pensacola, Florida since 1985.
The National Cremation Society of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida will be handling the cremation arrangements. A memorial service is planned at Encore Senior Village, 9015 University Parkway, Pensacola, Florida on April 30, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Janet Lee officiating.
