Mary Madglene Thames
ATMORE – Mrs. Mary Madglene Thames, 73 passed away Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005 at her residence. Services will be announced by Turner Funeral Chapel in Atmore.
Hazel Ellison Fore
ATMORE – Mrs. Hazel Ellison Fore, 74 passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005 in Atmore.
Mrs. Fore was a native of Rose Hill and a resident of Robinsonville for the past 55 years. She attended the Robinsonville Baptist Church. Her parents, Ammie D. and Ethel Wasdin Ellison, a brother, Phillip Ellison and three sisters, Vonteen Ellison Murph, Mildred Ellison Phillips, and Louise Ellison Sessions preceded her in death.
Survivors include: her husband of 55 years, Edwin D. Fore of Robinsonville; two daughters, Brenda Fore Armstrong of Elberta, and Peggy Fore Johnson of Selma; five grandchildren, Allen Johnson of Charleston, S.C., Adam Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson, both of Montgomery, Carrie Flirt Girard of Elberta, and Kellie Flirt (Zenon) Hunt of Old Hickory, Tenn.; three great grandchildren, Jordan Girard of Daphne, Baileigh Hunt and Kennedy Hunt, both of Old Hickory, Tenn; two brothers, Paul Ellison of Atmore and Murray and Ima Ree Ellison of Atmore; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Dec. 9, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Morris and Rev. C. L. Langford officiating. Burial followed in at Robinsonville Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Alan D. Ellison, Robert "Bob" Croft, Ricky Fore, Wayne Harrison, Gary Murph and Ron Sessions. Honorary pallbearers were members of her Sunday school class.
Pearl B. McGhee
BAY MINETTE – Mrs. Pearl B. McGhee, 94 passed away on Monday, Dec. 5, 2005 in Bay Minette.
Mrs. McGhee was a native of Munson, Fla., and a resident of Bay Minette since 1981. She attended McCullough Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Farrish McGhee.
Survivors include: her son, James Aubrey and Shirley McGhee of Seminole; three daughters, Daisy and J. W. Long of Pensacola, Fla., Eunice and Bob Pierce of Pensacola, Fla., and Eloise and Jasper Stewart of Bay Minette; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great grandchildren; a brother, W. C. Barnhill of Molino, Fla.; and two sisters, Josephine Flowers of Pensacola, Fla., and Linnie Johnson of At more.
Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 9, 2005 at 2 p.m., at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Welch, Rev. Gary Robbins and Rev. Mike Evans officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Vernon Barnhill, Kenny McGhee, Jason Jones, Scottie Stewart, Winfred Sims, and Robert Carter. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Baldwin County, 2770 South McKenzie Street, Foley, Al. 36535 Eastside Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
