Wiley Blankenship appointed to ATN board of directors
Wiley Blankenship, president of Coastal Gateway Economic Development Authority has been appointed to the Alabama Technology Network (ATN) board of directors.
ATN helps manufacturers in Alabama improve their global competitiveness through technical assistance, workforce training and technology transfer. Through a cooperative network of business, education and government, ATN is a primary source for identifying needs and delivering technical assistance, technology solutions and customized training to existing industry.
As part of the Alabama College System, ATN is comprised of regional centers that link the University of Alabama, Auburn University and the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama with community colleges throughout the state, such as the center located in Brewton at Jefferson Davis Community College. Each center tailors its services to meet local industry and business needs.
Since 1996, the Alabama Technology Network has been providing hands-on assistance and training to help address challenges and improve profitability for industries.
