Beverly Annette "Annie" Shiver
LOTTIE – Miss. Beverly Annette "Annie" Shiver, 12, passed away Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006 at a local hospital.
Miss. Shiver was a native and lifelong resident of Lottie, Ala. She was a student at Perdido Elementary School and attended the New Home Apostolic Church.
Survivors include: her parents, Beverly and Bruce English of Lottie; three sisters, Mary Ann Shiver and Patricia Marie Shiver, both of Lottie, and Brittany Alicia English of Atmore; her grandparents, Albert and Teresa Wilson of Lottie and Jesse and Susana English of Lottie; three aunts, Mindy and Perry Buckhault of Atmore, Terri and Kevin Quinn of Glenview, Ill., and Valerie and Jude Peralta of Gulfport, Miss; two uncles, Michael and Delisa English of Fairfax, Va., and Robert and Rikki English of Perdido; seven cousins, Austin Buckhault of Atmore, Ryan Quinn and Erin Quinn of Glenview, Ill., Ben English and Sean English of Fairfax, Va., and Payton English and Kolton English of Perdido; and her Godparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Langford of Atmore.
Funeral services will be held today, Feb. 15, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the New Home Apostolic Church with Rev. Steve Brecede and Rev. C. L. Langford officiating. Burial will follow at Lottie New Home Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers are Robert English, Michael English, Jude Peralta, Perry Buckhault, James Buckhault and Robert Day. Honorary pallbearers will be Jesse Buckhault and James Curtis.
Beverly Ann Ardis
HUXFORD – Mrs. Beverly Ann Ardis, 73, of Huxford, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2006 in Brewton. She was born in Escambia County Alabama on Aug. 20, 1932 to the late Burl B. and Essie Richardson Ray. She was a Quality Auditor with Vanity Fair Mills and a member of Huxford Baptist Church.
Survivors are: one son, Carlton Buster Ardis of Huxford; three daughters, Diane Dellaccio and husband Mike of Mobile, Denise Smith and husband Ricky, Ranae Mura and husband, Joey all of Huxford; one sister, Doris Kater of Atlanta; eight grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
Services were held on Monday, Feb. 13, 2006 at 11 a.m. from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harlan Morgan officiating. Interment followed in Huxford Baptist Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Ricky Smith, Joey Mura, James Akins, Dustin Ardis, Tony Ray and Harry Kater. Honorary pallbearer was Landon Mura.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of all arrangements.
Bobbie Everette Spain
BIRMINGHAM – Bobbie Everette Spain, age 89, of Birmingham, Ala, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006.
Mrs. Spain was a member of First Baptist Church of Hoover. She was retired as an accountant from the Birmingham Housing Authority. She was an active Bridge Player with memberships in many Bridge Clubs. All her friends and bridge players will miss her.
Memorial services were held at First Baptist Church of Hoover with Dr. Earl Tew and Dr. Randy Atkinson officiating.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Georgia May Everette; sister, Ouida Calender; and brother, Joe Everette. Survivors of Mrs. Spain include her son, Joseph H. Spain Jr. (Rosemary) of Birmingham; sister, Alma Miles of Atmore; brothers, Willard Everette, Grover Everette (Carolyn), Gordon Everette (Jettie), Junior Everette and Smith Everette (Mabel) all of Atmore; and grandchild, Shelley Thomas (J.R.) of Memphis, Tenn.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to First Baptist Church of Hoover or Outreach Program with Cathedral Church of the Advent.
Joseph Thomas "Joey" Davis
EATONTON -Mr. Joseph Thomas "Joey" Davis, age 43 of Eatonton, Ga died Tuesday February 07,2006 at His residence. He was a Manager of North American Arts, born in Atmore on May 11,1962 to Eubie Willard and Olivia Wiggins Davis.
Joey was a graduate of 1980 Class of Escambia County High School, and received His degree from Troy State University in 1984. He is preceded In death by His Father: Euble Willard Davis.
Joey leaves behind to cherish his Memory His Mother and Step-Father: Olivia Wiggins Bryan and Franklin "Runt" Bryan; his only sister, Debby Davis Cook. Two Nephews, Randon Watson (fiancee April Dykes), Cord Cook, a niece Sharley Cook all of Atmore: Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends whose lives he had touched in so many ways.
Services were held on Saturday February 11 ,2006 at 10AM from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Doug Newton officiating. Interment followed in Oak Hili Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers were: Jason Hobbs, Trenton Daughtry, Bradley Woods, Travis Daughtry, Troy Daughtry,Tristan Daughtry, Jake Woods and Trevor Daughtry.

R.B. Womack
ATMORE – Mr. R.B. Womack, age 79 of Atmore, AI died Friday February 10,2005 In Atmore. He was a Truck Operator with Gandy Oil Co, born in Monroe County, Goodway on August 08,1926 to the late Edward Ned and Ida Flowers Womack.
Mr. R.B. was a member of Enon Baptist Church in Enon.
Survivors are: His wife, Marguree H. Womack of Atmore; one son, James D. Womack and wife, Rosemary S. of Atmore; one daughter, Margie Ann Harrison and husband, Mitchell of Goodway; one brother, Raymond Womack of Camden; two sisters, Ellav Page of Robinsonville and Joyce Watkins of Atmore; six granddaughters, Anita Harrison, Genie Morrison, Teresa Nichols, Michelle Fitzhugh and Paula Daniel; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.
Services will be Sunday Feb. 12, 2006 at 2PM from the Enon Baptist Church, with Bro. Bob Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in Enon Baptist Church Cemetery, Enon, AIa.
Active Pallbearers are: Jay Nichols, Steven Morris Jr., Paul Morrison, Randal Daniel, Troy Fitzhugh, and Craig Fitzhugh. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Jim Overstreet, Bill McMurphy, Joe McMurphy, Arnold Lambert and Jerry Wayne Brown.
