Gladys Spellman
CENTURY – Mrs. Gladys Spellman, 86 passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2006 at Jay Hospital in Jay, Fla. She was a native of Vrdendough, Ala., and a resident of Century, Fla., for many years.
She was a member of Wesley Chapel CME Church in Century, Fla., where she was a stewardess. She was a domestic homemaker.
Her parents, Henry and Annie Spencer Sr., and her husband, Johnny Spellman, preceded Mrs. Spellman in death.
One brother and his wife, Henry and Arthettia Spencer Jr., of Century, Fla, survive her.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Wesley Chapel C.M.E. Church in Century, Fla., with the Rev. Lloyd Hicks officiating. Burial will follow in Century Cemetery in Century, Fla.
Turner Funeral Home Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
Carma Russell Rudolph
ATMORE – Mrs. Carma Russell Rudolph, 31, formerly of Atmore, died Saturday, March 4, 2006 in Atlantic Beach, S. C.
She was born in Escambia County in Atmore on July 3, 1974. She was the daughter of Mr. Robert Nichols and Jayne Russell of Atmore.
She was married to Mr. Terry Rudolph and to this union three children were born. She was a member of the Atlantic Beach Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in Atlantic Beach, S.C. She led the youth program where she served faithfully until her death.
Those who mourn her are: a husband, Terry Rudolph of Atmore; four children, De'Janea Rudolph, Ty'Quaris Rudolph, La Andreas Russell of North Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Qua' Vardis Russell of Atmore; a loving devoted mother, Jayne Russell of Atmore; one sister, Anjanette Russell Crenshaw (Willie), and two brothers, Garrick Russell (Detrie) and Mark Hall both of Atmore; mother-in-law, Annie Bell Sellers (James); two sister-in-laws, Teresa Redmond and Tiny Moorer both of Atmore; father, Robert Nichols (Yvonne) of Atmore; two brothers-in-law, Fredrick Rudolph (Theresa) and Kennedy Crook both of Atmore; stepsisters, Danielle Nichols, Shanell Johnson both of Birmingham and Analisha Banks (Emmanuel) of Atmore; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services were held on Monday, March 13, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Liberty Missionary Baptist Church with Apostle Jermaine Gibbs officiating. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery. Final arrangements were entrusted to Christian Memorial Funeral Home.
