Julius Bulter
ATMORE – Julius Bulter of Atmore died on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at Mobile Infirmary. Turner Funeral Chapel will announce services.
Jo Ann Mahowald
PENSACOLA – Mrs. Jo Anne Mahowald, 71 passed away Saturday, March 18, 2006 in Pensacola, Fla.
She was a native of Flomaton and a resident most of her life. She was a former long-time employee of Albert's Steak House.
Her brother John "Bubba" Blount precedes her in death. Survivors include: her son, Larry Davis and his wife, Peggy of Fayetteville, Tenn.; her daughter, Laura Ann Roberson and husband, Lonnie Travis of Flomaton; her sister, Carolyn Lambeth of Citronelle; six grandchildren and five great – grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Godwin Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Keese officiating. Burial will also be in Godwin Cemetery. Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Marlow James
ATMORE – Mr. Marlow James, 86 of Atmore, died on Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at Atmore Community Hospital. He worked for the City of Atmore.
His mother, Laura Anderson, preceded him in death.
James is survived by his wife, Beulah Mae James; three step – daughters, Frances (Robert) Miller and Sandy (James) Cook both of Cleveland, Ohio and Minola (William) Kelly of Silver Springs, Md.; one step – son, Oscar T. (Diann) McCarty Sr, of Atmore; three sisters, Alberta Williams of Atmore, Men Hubert and Louise Paul both of Brewton; 12 step-grandchildren and a host of step – great – grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. at Zion Star AME Zion in Atmore. Burial followed in Stallworth Cemetery in Atmore. Turner Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Robert E. Henderson
ATMORE – Mr. Robert E. Henderson, 79 passed away Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Atmore Community Hospital. He was a resident of Atmore.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Faith Temple COGIC Church in Atmore with Rev. Johnny Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Atmore. Public viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2006 at Turner Funeral Chapel. Turner Funeral Chapel is in charge of all arrangements.
Julian Mack Dean
BAY MINETTE – Mr. Julian Mack Dean, age 73, born in Atmore and a resident of Bay Minette, died on Monday, March 20, 2006 at his residence. He was a retired Staff Sergeant with the United States Air Force.
He is survived by: one son, Joel R. Sullivan of Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters, Christina L. (Lee) Garcia of Bay Minette and Diana C. (Dr. Terry) Richmond of Pensacola, Fla.; three grandchildren, Mitchell A. Bryars, Katie Richmond and Jonathan Richmond; two great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Bryars and Nicholas Bryars; and one brother, Everette A. Dean of Jacksonville, Fla.
Graveside funeral services and burial will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at 2p.m. at the Bay Minette Cemetery with Rev. Bob Graves officiating. Full military honors will be rendered at the graveside by the U.S. Air Force honor guard.
Although the family will accept flowers they suggest that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 26148 Capital Drive, Suite F, Daphne, Al, 36526 or to St. Jude's Children' Hospital, 332 North Lauderdale Street, Memphis, Tenn., 38105.
