Greenlawn remains undefeated

Cody Vickry led Greenlawn Pharmacy to its third win in three games May 22. Greenlawn grabbed a 5-4 victory over Huddle House in Atmore Babe Ruth League action.
Vickry was 2-for-3 at the plate with two runs scored and he picked up the win on the mound as Greenlawn stayed hot and bumped their record to 3-0. Vickry threw four innings for the win and Haden McGill closed the game out in the fifth inning for Greenlawn.
Nicholas Flowers, Jamorris Curry and Ben Hess each crossed the plate once for Greenlawn in the win.
Lawrence Thomas scored two runs for Huddle House and threw one inning on the mound. Tyler Brown pitched four innings on the mound. Eric Coley and Blake Kirk each scored a run in the game.
Poarch Creek Indians 6 – Pepsi 3
The early game of the evening was also a close game. Jacob Rackard threw the complete game for Poarch and struck out seven batters. He also scored one run at the plate. Cameron McGhee scored two runs and Jon Dean, Stephen Yoder and Nico Johnson each added one run scored for Poarch.
Poarch took a 3-2 lead in the fourth inning and held on for the win, scoring three insurance runs in the fifth inning to seal the deal.
Skylar Peacock and Jordan Hasting scored one run apiece in the first inning and Ryan Lambert crossed the plate in the sixth inning for Pepsi's only other run.
