Robert Wayne Hadley
PERDIDO- Mr. Robert Wayne Hadley, 59, a native and resident of Perdido, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at Mercy Medical in Daphne. He retired from Masland Carpet in Atmore after 27 years of service as a Tie Dye operator.
He is survived by his wife: JoAnn (Paul) Hadley of Perdido; his father, Bob Hadley of Perdido; four sons, Dennis W. Hadley of Stockton, Carl W. (Lacy) Hadley, David (Vanessa) Welch, both of Perdido, Charles (Marina) Welch of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Angie (Tim Dyess) Hadley of Stockton, Mary (Rob) Welch Smith of Pensacola, Fla.; four grandchildren, Khrystofer Wallace, Mystic Welch, Michael Smith and Ryan Smith; two sisters, Margaret (Marvin) Hayles and Louise Harville both of Perdido; many uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends; special caregivers: Jennifer Sims, Roger Welch and Robin Ammons. His mother, Algerine Hadley and a son Robert W. Hadley, Jr preceded him in death.
The funeral services were held Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 2 p.m. at the Fretwell Tabernacle Church with Sister Helen Stewart and Rev. Joe Welch officiating. Interment followed at Bryars-McGill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Duncan Williams, Mark Johnson, Bobby Harville, Henry Harville Jr., D.C. Harville and Ryan Phillips. Marvin Hayles was an alternate.
Although the family will accept flowers, they suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Fretwell Tabernacle Church Building Fund, 56333 Jerry Stewart Road, Perdido, Ala. 36562.

Shirley Whittington Amos
ATMORE – Mrs. Shirley Whittington Amos, age 60, of Atmore died Friday, May 19, 2006 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Amos was a native of Lottie, but had been a resident of Atmore for the past 35 years and was a member of the Bratt First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Aubrey G. Amos of Atmore; two step – sons and their wives, David and Susan Amos of Atmore, Neal and Roxanne Amos of Summerdale; step – daughter and her husband, Brenda and David Moss of West Palm Beach, Fla.; a brother, Donald B. Whittington and his wife Helene, of Bay Minette; sister-in-law Ann Bell and her husband Ray of Atmore; brother-in-law Arnold Amos of Atmore; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, May 22, 2006 at Eastside Chapel with Rev. Marcus Caraway officiating. Burial followed in the Serenity Garden Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel directing.
Active pallbearers were Brandon Amos, Shawn Amos, Kelby Amos, Christopher Amos, Steve Whittington and David Whittington.
Honorary pallbearers were William Whittington, Billy Whittington, Andy Wasdin and David Bishop.
R. L. "Jack" Stewart
BRATT – Mr. R. L. "Jack" Stewart, 88, passed away Monday, May 22, 2006 at a Santa Rosa County hospital.
Stewart was a native of Pineville, Fla., and a resident of Bratt, Fla., since 1943. He was retired from Monsanto after 26 years with perfect attendance, a member of Masonic Lodge # 213, the OES #188, the Scottish Rite, the American Legion, the Escambia River Directors, the Pine Barren Creek Hunting Club, a Veteran of WWII, and attended the Shiloh Freewill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Ruth Foster Stewart, two brothers, George W. Stewart and Joe W. Stewart, a sister, Getherine Locke, and three great-grandchildren, Ashley Kennedy, Robert Kennedy and Adam Kennedy.
Survivors include: his son, Robert and Dianne Stewart of Bratt, Fla.; four daughters, Millie and Walt Dzurus of Longwood, Fla., Neita Smith of Atmore, Myrna and Ray Hodgen of Atmore, and Jacqulyn Ruth and David Johnson of Bratt, Fla.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers, Iria M. Stewart of Bay Minette, Rev. Homer E. Stewart of Flomaton, T. Clinton Stewart of Milton, and Rev. Rabon Stewart of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and two sisters, Earlene Kelly of Atmore and Polly Collins of Winter Springs, Fla.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 10 a.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Johnson and Rev. Kevin Flannagin officiating. Burial will follow at Godwin Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 24, 2006 between 6 and 9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Greg Hodgen, Walter D. Burns, Glenn Smith, Roger Smith, Sam Stewart and Jeff Kennedy.
William Wayne Hayles
ATMORE – Mr. William Wayne Hayles, age 68 of Atmore, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 in Mobile. He was retired from A &P after 30 years, owned and operated Hayles Grocery in Lottie for the last 10 years. He was a member of Brooks Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors are: two sisters, Bobbie Louise Caraway and husband Charles Henderson Caraway of McCullough, Margaret Eloise Steele and husband, Bennie Earl Steele of Atmore; three nephews, Michael Roy Glen Steele of Jacksonville, Fla., Ronnie Earl Steele of Mobile, and Roy Glen Steele of Misawa, Japan; a great – nephew, Bradley Aaron Steele of ElCajon, Calif; and a special friend, Jean Mauden of Pensacola, Fla.
Services were held Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 10 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mike Grindle and Bro. Albert Kennington officiating. Interment followed in Lottie Methodist Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Mike Steele, Norman Wilson, Wayne Dean, Pete Helton, Aubrey Till and Tobe Sellers. Honorary pallbearers were Jack Sharpless, Carlton Sharpless, Charles Agee and Benny Biggs.
Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
Charles Nicholas Brantley
ATMORE – Mr. Charles Nicholas Brantley, age 39, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at his Atmore residence.
He was a native and life long resident of the Atmore Area. He worked as a plumber and was of the Baptist faith. His father, Charles Ray Brantley Sr, preceded Brantley in death.
He is survived by his mother, Betty M. Brantley of Atmore; his paternal grandmother, Amye Brantley of Flomaton; two brothers, Charles Ray Brantley Jr., of Milton, Fla., Charles Andrew Brantley of Atmore; two sisters, Rhonda S. Laws of Pensacola, Fla., Jennifer Boyett of Birmingham; two nieces, Robin E. Fowler and Jessica Brantley.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 21, 2006 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Rev. James Johnson officiating. Interment followed in Old Catawba Cemetery.
Craver's Funeral Home was directing.
Kimberly Dianne Hunt
JAY – Miss. Kimberly Dianne Hunt, 40, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2006 at a Santa Rosa County hospital.
Miss. Hunt was a native of Pensacola, Fla., and a resident of Jay, Fla., for the past 32 years. She was an employee with Wal-Mart in Brewton for 10 years, a 1984 graduate of Jay High School and a Sunday school teacher for the children's church and children's discipleship choir for Lottie Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her parents, Dale and Frances Hunt of Jay, Fla.; and three brothers, Kenneth Hunt of Jay, Fla., Wally Hunt of New York, N. Y., and Kevin Hunt of Chumuckla, Fla.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at 10 a.m. at the Lottie Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Pruitt and Rev. Chip Barbas officiating.
Pallbearers will be Dale Robinson, Rodger McDuffie, Glenn Hadley, Pat Crenshaw, Ron Harrelson, and Billy Bossard. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Boyington, Nip Hadley, Joe Fuller, and Don Roberts. Junior Honorary pallbearers will be Eric Bossard, Cody Coleman, Logan Farrell, and Nicholas Conway.
Teresa Nan Blanton
BRATT – Mrs. Teresa Nan Blanton, 50, passed away Sunday, May 21, 2006 at a Pensacola, Fla., hospital.
Blanton was a native of Miami, Fla., a former resident of Pensacola, Fla., and a resident of Bratt, Fla., for the past 10 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker and attended the Church of Christ.
Proceeded in death by her father, James Simon Williams and a sister, Debra Ann.
Survivors include: her husband, David Eric Blanton of Bratt, Fla; her son Daryl Sellers of Pensacola, Fla.; her daughter, Vickie Sellers Pierce of Pensacola, Fla.; her mother, Irma Jean Baker of Walnut Hill, Fla.; six grandchildren; four sisters, Linda Thomas of Nokomis, Fla., Jamie Williams, April Williams, and Tammy Williams all of Pensacola, Fla.; and her step-mother, Nancy Williams of Pensacola, Fla.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 3 p.m. at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Marcus Caraway officiating. Burial will follow at Godwin Cemetery in Bratt. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 25, 2006 from 2 p.m. until funeral time at the Petty Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Annie R. Davis
ATMORE – Mrs. Annie R. Davis, age 86 passed away Sunday, May 21, 2006 at Atmore Community Hospital. She was a native of Enterprise and a resident of Atmore for many years.
She was a member of Second Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Atmore and attended school in Coffee County. She was a laborer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayford Davis, mother Carrie M. Flanning, father, Rob Bean, children, Carrie Riley, Henry Davis and Will Davis.
She is survived by three daughters, Annie B. Seller, Annie N. Hudson both of Atmore and Callie P. Dean of Frisco City; three sons, Charles Davis, Arsee Davis and Steve Davis, all of Atmore; 35 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 27, 2006 at 2 p.m. from Second Mt. Triumph Baptist Church in Atmore with the Rev. Joe Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Atmore.
Public viewing will be Friday, May 26, 2006 from 2 to 8:30 p.m. at Turner Funeral Chapel.
Arthur Barlow
WALNUT HILL – Mr. Arthur L. Barlow, age 90 of Walnut Hill, Fla., died Saturday, May 20, 2006 in Gainesville, Fla.
He was retired from St. Regis Paper Company, born in Dry Springs, Fla., on May 30, 1915 to the late Rufus and Elizabeth Williams Barlow.
His wife, Eula Seals Barlow, precedes him in death. Survivors are one son, Jerry Barlow and one daughter, Hazel McCullough both of Walnut Hill, Fla.; one sister, Agadeen Dagen of Walnut Hill, Fla.; six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Services will be Thursday, May 25, 2006 at 11 a.m. from the Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Dry Springs Cemetery in Enon, Fla. Family will receive friends, Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Keith LuShawn Stallworth
McCULLOUGH – Mr. Keith LuShawn Stallworth, 28, passed away Monday, May 15, 2006 at his residence.
He was a native and a resident of McCullough. His grandmother, Amanda Stallworth, grandfather, Chester Perces and grandparents, Earnest and Annie Ruth Singleton, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother Lucy Mae (Peggy) Stallworth of Atmore; his father, James Singleton of Uriah; one sister, Tawanna (Tyrus) Lambert of Mobile and one brother, James (Aida) Stallworth of Panama City, Fla.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at 2 p.m. from New Order Missionary Baptist Church in Atmore with Rev. Dembray Archie and Rev. Sidney Grant officiating. Burial will follow in First Baptist Cemetery in Atmore. Turner Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
