Yankees rally late for big win

After falling behind 2-0 against the Swift Supply Lions, the Ziebach &Webb Timber Company Yankees scored seven runs in the fourth inning and eight runs in the fifth inning to put the Lions away 15-5 May 25 in Atmore Cal Ripken Minor League action.
Bradley Geck, Justin Filmore, Joseph Ferrell, Thomas Rolin, Aaron Salter and Drake Hamilton each scored a run in the fourth and a run in the fifth. Perry Metzler, Darrius Norman and Carlos McNeill added one run scored for the Yankees.
Billy Powell and Travarius Groom scored the first two runs of the game in the first inning for the Lions and Groom, Larry Pugh and Dandrex McCarthy scored in the fifth inning. But it was too little, too late for the Lions.
Jerry's Alignment Center Braves 14 – Chuck Stevens Automotive Cubs 5
A six-run first inning for the Braves fueled their victory May 25 over the Cubs. Timothy Finkley, Arri Torres, Devante Dailey, Alex Rice, Scottie Lambert and Marcus Brooks each scored in the first inning.
Rice and Brooks added two more runs and Finkley, Daily and Lambert added one more run scored. Hunter Sherause also crossed the plate for the Braves.
Gage White scored three runs and Jake Leachman and Jacolby Ulmer each added one run scored for the Cubs.
Atmore Vision Center Cardinals 11 – Kirk Insurance Agency Tigers 7
The Cardinals scored five runs in the first two innings and the Tigers grabbed a 6-5 lead in the third inning May 23. The Cardinals put together a six-run fourth inning to grab the win.
Xan McGhee scored three runs, Steven Wilson and Devante Stevens scored two runs and Robin Swift, Tad Wall, Trae Thompson and Eric Robinson each crossed the plate once for the Cardinals.
Nate Smith and Melik McMillian scored three runs and John Sawyer scored two runs for the Tigers.
Jerry's Alignment Center Braves 14 – Swift Supply Lions 6
The runs were scattered across all six innings, but the Braves came out with the big victory May 23 over the Lions.
Addi Torres, Alex Rice, Timothy Finkler and Jadarius Brown each crossed the plate twice and Devante Dailey, Scottie Lambert, Marcus Brooks, Fayu Hunter and Xavier Brooks each contributed one run scored for the Braves.
Billy Powell scored two runs for the Lions and Kelton Wooten, Larry Pugh, Dandrex McCarthy and Jamal Richardson each scored one run for the Lions.
