BOE to meet Thursday at 4:30
The next regular board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 27, 2006 at 4:30 p.m. at the Brewton Central Office.
BOE advisory to meet Friday
The Escambia County Board of Education's Federal Programs Advisory Committee will meet Friday, July 28 at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will be held at the Atmore Central Office, 501 S. Pensacola Avenue, Atmore
The public in invited.
WNSI radio slated to begin "Girl Talk"
Girl Talk is coming to WNSI FM 105.9, beginning Sept. 6. This hour long show will air from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday's.

Baker to hold meet and greet in park
Alan Baker, candidate for state representative, is holding a meet and greet event in Heritage Park on Aug. 1 from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Free refreshments and hotdogs will be served.
Revival to begin Sunday July 30
Walnut Hill Baptist Church will be in revival this Sunday, July 30 through Wednesday, Aug. 2. Sunday morning services will be at 11a.m. Sunday evening at 6:p.m. and Monday through Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m.
Bro. Ted Bridges and Bro. David Boyd will bring the message.

Rachel Patterson open house Aug. 9
Rachel Patterson Elementary School will hold open house/meet &greet on Aug. 9, at 2 p.m. for first and second grade students and parents. Students can bring their school supplies at this time. Parents are encouraged to join our PTO at this time.
Kindergarten orientation will he held Aug. 10, at 9:30 a.m. This is a full day for first and second graders. Kindergarten students will meet their teachers at this time. The first full day of school for kindergarten is Aug. 11.
Parents of new students are encouraged to register their children for the new school year as soon as possible. Appropriate papers, such as Social Security card, copy of the student's birth certificate, and immunization record are required.
