Team captains and committee members from this years Relay for Life will meet Thursday evening beginning at 6:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Atmore.
According to Relay chairman Walt Butler, the meeting is a wrap up to conclude this year's successful event. A total of $91,000 was brought in for the American Cancer Society by the various teams involved in the relay.
"This meeting is just going to be a wrap up of the year basically," Butler said. "The team captains are coming in and we will be awarding incentive prizes and conducting a survey to determine what we can improve on or add to next year's program."
The kick-off for next year's Relay for Life will be Oct. 5 with a theme of television shows.
